Digging Deeper into Compaction: Trends, Tech and the Operator’s Role

I recently had the chance to chat with the folks at ForConstructionPros Digging Deeper podcast about what’s happening in the world of asphalt and soil compaction. We covered a lot of ground, from the challenges contractors are facing right now to where we see technology taking things in the future.

One of the big topics I discussed with Brandon Noel, the editor of Asphalt Contractor magazine, was the labor situation — finding and keeping good operators is a real issue. We also got into how new tech, like autonomous equipment and data tools, can help make jobs more efficient.
